Everything still lands in one inbox.

The idea

What I Say

In the 1990s I had an epiphany.
Every relationship could be an alias on my own domain.

With a catch all address, I could make endless aliases.
I gave a different address to each person.

They all came to me, and I sorted them.
That broke the silo of email: one address for every relationship.

A relationship asks who you are in relation to me.
An e-lationship is elated: fun, joyful, a vessel for bliss.

I believe I first wrote the word e-lationship in a book in 1999.

Relationships are Einstein. E-lationships are Bucky Fuller.

Good enough is why email survives.
So this works inside the inbox you already have.

In the room

What People Leave With

  1. A way to give each relationship its own address.
  2. The power to shut one address off and keep the rest.
  3. A reason to want a relationship that is joyful, not only tracked.
For a panel

Questions I Would Bring

  1. Who has an address of yours that they should not?
  2. What would change if each person had their own address?
  3. What do you want your relationships to feel like?
A good question beats a prepared speech.
