A talk by Viktor Grant

How I Work With Claude

I rebuilt a live site with an AI, in days.

Here is the loop, and the rules that make it safe.

The idea

What I Say

I keep my rules in a style guide the AI reads each time.
Short lines. No hype. Some names stay private.

I keep memory in files, not in chat.
A project holds the notes, so no day starts from zero.

I describe what the code should do.
I read what comes back, and I correct it.

I test on a copy first. Then I check the file on the server
matches the file we made.

I use more than one AI, each for what it does well.
Earthgrid.ai is where I prepare the work. Claude is where I build it.

The AI never speaks for me without my read.
I am the author. It is the synthesizer.

In the room

What People Leave With

  1. A starter rulebook for your own project.
  2. Your two memory files, and the daily handoff.
  3. A test loop to run before anything goes live.
For a panel

Questions I Would Bring

  1. What would you want written down before the AI starts?
  2. How do you know the work on your server is the work you approved?
  3. Which part do you hand over, and which part do you keep?
A good question beats a prepared speech.
