What I Say

Most of us reach our people through a gate someone else owns.

The gate can change its rules. The price can change. The reach can fade.

Earthgrid is built the other way.
Members keep their own listings, in their own words.

A username is yours until you change it.
Then someone else may claim it. That is fair.

Owning the road does not mean leaving the others.
It means you are never stuck on one.

Read the idea, then see where it goes.

In the room

What People Leave With

  1. Name where your audience lives today, and who holds the gate.
  2. Pick one thing you own: a page, a list, or a username.
  3. Move one relationship from rented to owned this week.
For a panel

Questions I Would Bring

  1. Who holds the gate between you and your readers?
  2. What would you lose if that gate closed on Monday?
  3. What is the smallest thing you could own by Friday?
A good question beats a prepared speech.
