His Agent Could Only Get Him $10,000
He is a keynote speaker. The talk was not the problem.
His LinkedIn profile had too few followers and too little presence
to justify the $15,000 fee his agent wanted to ask for.
The agent told him plainly: go find someone who can coach you
on LinkedIn until you have a dominant presence. Then we raise the rate.
That is a problem I can solve.
What we did
- Three sessions. Each one shorter than the last. The first was booked for ninety minutes and he stopped it after an hour, because he had what he needed.
- Before each session I did the research. His profile, his site, his videos, his competition. We spent the call deciding, not catching me up.
- After each session I did the production. I rebuilt pages on his site. I repurposed his videos. I recut his speaker reel with new animations.
- I built him a LinkedIn company page. He had never had one, only a personal profile. Each session moved him further than the one before.
What happened
His agent called him back with his first booking at $15,000
instead of $10,000, and said the rate stays there from now on.
He speaks about fifty times a year.
Five thousand more per talk, fifty times, is roughly $250,000 a year.
And he stayed. He is a loyal Earthgrid.ai Pro member today.
He paid for three sessions. That is why I charge what I charge.Viktor Grant
