Inspired by the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and the passion of Seattle Fire Fighter Erik Lawyer, we invite you to participate in ONE: The Event, and catalyze a global collective shift to LOVE AND UNITY.


You, your friends and loved ones are all invited to join us online, or in Seattle on 9/11, or at one of our satellite events across the world to help us launch a movement.


In remembrance of the tragedies of September 11th and the wars that followed, we will honor all those senselessly lost join us in rebuilding our relationships with love and kindness, and celebrate our global unity.


Since it is up to each of us to make this shift, as part of our campaign, we ask you to make your own fearless declaration stated as “I AM THE ONE WHO…” through your online submissions and communications of videos, photographs, tweets and blogs. (Examples: “I am the ONE who will choose love over fear in my life” or “I am the ONE who will end hunger in Africa” or “I am the ONE who will make people smile every chance I get.)


Through our individual and collective expressions, on the day most associated with fear and hate, we can shift this to the most powerful day of love and unity. Help us turn one of Humanity’s Darkest Days into its Brightst. 




To catalyze this movement and join millions, we invite you to participate in the following simple ways:

  1. SIGN UP – Sign our online pledge list or ‘Like’ our Facebook page and commit to “sharing love” on September 11. We will notify you with instructions on how to participate online through our global webcast of ONE: The Moment, if you so choose.
  2. HOST or ATTEND an EVENT in remembrance of this day in your community or home on September 11 to celebrate the power of ONE. We’ll send you an event organizer’s guide to provide you with resources, connect you with partners in your community and help you promote your event on our website.
  3. Purchase a ONE: The Event product or make a generous DONATION to support ONE: The Event and your favorite local charity who is partnering with us.
  4. PRACTICE RANDOM ACTS OF LOVE, kindness, and forgiveness every day of your life.
